Venus Transit

From an Observatory, we witnessed the transition of Venus.. a tiny ball blocking the partial view of Sun. just put a black spot on a huge white paper...and u'll know what we saw thru the telescope ;-)

No its not that simple..the excitement of watching once a lifetime event is different...though its not something as visually appealing as a solar ecilipse(with beautiful corona ring and all...) We got to know something more about the universe we are a part of and the interesting events that happen. The last venus transit before 8th June 2004 was in 1882...100years before i was born!!

This observatory was on a beautiful hill top. It was a long hike and i got know a lighter side of my labmates and made new friends.
